1) ACUERDO DE COLABORACION ENTRE CIEMAT Y FUNDACION CIENCIAS DE LA
DOCUMENTACIÓN

Juan Antonio Rubio Rodriguez, Director General del Centro de Investigaciones
Energeticas, Medioambientales y Tecnologicas (CIEMAT), organismo del
Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovacion del Gobierno de España, y Jose Raul
Vaquero Pulido, Presidente de la Fundacion Ciencias de la Documentacion, han
firmado un acuerdo de colaboracion por el que ambas instituciones se
centraran en el desarrollo de programas y actividades que conlleven la
cooperacion, capacitacion, asesoría y difusion en el ambito de las
Tecnologias de la Informacion, Comunicacion e Innovacion a nivel mundial, y
en especial en el entorno extremeño.
2) AUDITORIO - 2º CONGRESO MUNDIAL

El 2º Congreso Mundial "Informacion y Conocimiento: Aspectos Tecnologicos"
se realizara en el Auditorio del Banco Central de la Republica Dominicana.
Av. Pedro Henriquez Ureña. Esq. Calle Leopoldo Navarro. Santo Domingo,
Republica Dominicana. El Castellano sera el idioma oficial del 2º Congreso
Mundial, aunque se ofrecera traduccion Castellano-Ingles e Ingles-Castellano
en la apertura y clausura de sesiones, asi como en otras seleccionadas por
el Comite Organizador.

Seccioón para promocionar la profesion entre columnistas que escriben en
castellano sobre conocimiento, tecnologias, sociedad de la informacion,
bibliotecologia, archivologia, museologia, innovacion, y terminos

4) ADHESION A LA MARCHA MUNDIAL POR LA PAZ Y LA NO-VIOLENCIA

Conscientes de que la Informacion es un instrumento fundamental para el
cambio social y erradicacion de la violencia, la Fundacion Ciencias de la
Documentacion se adhiere a la Marcha Mundial por la Paz y la No-Violencia,
organizada y promovida por la asociacion internacional "Mundo Sin Guerras y
sin Violencias", que se realizara del 2 de Octubre de 2009 al 2 de Enero de
2010. Es la primera Marcha Mundial que recorrera todo el planeta pidiendo el
fin de las guerras, las armas nucleares y la eliminación de todo tipo de
violencia.

7) PREMIO INTERNACIONAL FCD

La Fundacion Ciencias de la Documentacion convoca un Premio Internacional
para reconocer el trabajo de las unidades de informacion mas comprometidas
socialmente, en especial entre los desfavorecidos en el acceso y uso de la
informacion. El plazo de presentacion de solicitudes termina el 30 de
septiembre de 2009. El premio tendra una dotacion economica de 3.000 Euros,
mas la entrega de un Diploma. Sera entregado en el ENCUENTRO MUNDIAL DE
INFORMACIÓN Y DERECHOS HUMANOS que se celebrara en España en 2010,
organizado en colaboracion con la Fundacion Cultura de Paz.

1) COLLABORATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN CIEMAT AND DOCUMENTATION SCIENCES
FOUNDATION

Juan Antonio Rodriguez Rubio, General Director of the Research Center for
Energy, Environment and Technology (CIEMAT), an organism of the Ministry of
President of the Documentation Sciences Foundation, signed a collaboration
agrement in which both institutions will be focus on developing programs and
activities involving cooperation, training, consultancy and dissemination in
the field of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation at the
global level, especially in Extremadura.
2) AUDITORIUM - 2ND WORLD CONGRESS

The 2nd World Congress "Information and Knowledge: Technology Issues" will
be held at the Auditorium of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic. Av.
Pedro Henriquez Ureña. Esq. Calle Leopoldo Navarro. Santo Domingo, Dominican
Republic. Spanish will be the official working language for the 2nd World
Congres. Spanish-English and English-Spanish translation will be provided in
the opening and closing sessions, as well as others selected by the
Organizing Committee.

Aware that the information is an essential tool for social change and
eradication of violence, the Documentation Sciences Foundation has joined to
the World March for Peace and NonViolence, organized and promoted by the
international association "World without wars and without violence. The
World March will begin in New Zealand on October 2, 2009, the anniversary of
Gandhi's birth, declared the "International Day of Non-Violence" by the
United Nations. It will conclude in the Andes Mountains (Punta de Vacas,
Aconcagua, Argentina) on January 2, 2010.

The Documentation Sciences Foundation convenes an international award to
recognize the work of units of information more socially engaged, especially
among the disadvantaged in access to and use of information. The deadline
for submitting applications expires on september 30, 2009. The award will
have a strength of 3,000 Euros, plus the delivery of Diploma. The award will
be delivered within the WORLD MEETING ON INFORMATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS to be
held in Spain 2010, event organized in collaboration with the Foundation for
a Culture of Peace.
